First I need to say I work with Tequipment.net, but I don't sell products. Since I purchased this product for my house, I can write a review on it.

I have seen other lower cost boroscope and by far this one is better. If anything maybe a little overkill for my application. I don't need to save images. I like the light on the end of the scope, most of the places I need to look into are dark. The extension come in handy, it's not to easy to control, but just go slow and you can make it work.

It does what it suppose to do allow you to see into places that you can't get a good view of. In my case, my home had a lot of open space that was sealed off when the house was built. Future closets. I wanted to see what was behind the wall and this worked perfectly.

To be fair, I've yet to find a borescope that I found really useful, but overall I like the ones with the direct view eyepiece better than ones like this with a video screen. The video just is never clear enough, and while this is better than many cheaper ones, I still wouldn't use it.
