Space-Saving 4-in-1 DC Power Supply A trustworthy and versatile benchtop DC power supply is a must-have for today’s hobbyist, electronics instructor, electronics repair technician, or industrial electronics company. Depending on the complexity of your testing and power needs, more than one power supply may be needed. Even multiple power supplies that can stack on one another may quickly eat up valuable benchtop space. To help solve this problem, Extech introduced an adjustable power supply that does the job of four power supplies while maintaining a small footprint on the workbench. Easily operated for users of any skill level, this 4-in-1 supply offers users two fully adjustable power supplies as well as two auxiliary outputs. The two main supplies operate from 0 to 30V and 0 to 5A. Users can choose from Constant Voltage or Constant Current modes. Additionally, there are two auxiliary outputs with adjustable voltage and fixed currents from 3 to 6.5V/3A and 8 to 15V/1A. The versatility of multiple outputs, precision digital control of output power and a compact footprint compared to four completely separate supplies (or two sets of double-stacked supplies) make this benchtop power supply a popular choice for anyone who tests devices at different voltages or currents including those who need to power multiple devices simultaneously. Easier Series and Parallel Power Combinations: The 4-in-1 power supply allows users to seamlessly select between series or parallel modes, avoiding the frustration of manipulating several devices at once. In addition to its increased overall capabilities, the selectable modes make it easy to set one “slave” output that automatically tracks whichever the user selects as a “master” output, eliminating timing and power variations which result from multiple manual adjustments. Built-In 60VDC/10A Benchtop Power Supply Users with demanding power requirements can combine the outputs of the Extech 382270 for professional-grade results. Get up to 60V outputs in series mode or 10A outputs in parallel mode. For routine or occasional needs, having an integrated tool able to provide higher power outputs when needed and without a dedicated power supply adds versatility and value. To ensure a long service life, the Extech quad output power supply features both overload and short circuit protection. Extech 382270 quad output power supply at-a-glance:
