Gas Soldering Iron
The “big” gas soldering device from Ersa, the INDEPENDENT 130, can be applied wherever demanding soldering tasks have to be performed without a power supply.
Its broad range of continuously variable 25-130 W (compared with electrical soldering irons) and its comprehensive range of soldering tips allow a wide variety of uses in service, installation, maintenance, and repair work.
The integrated piezo ignition and powering by filtered butane gas ensure the easiest possible handling and great reliability. The operating time per gas filling is about 120 minutes, with a maximum tip temperature of about 580°C.
Refillable gas
The Ersa INDEPENDENT 130 operates on butane gas such as used with ordinary cigarette lighters. Use only 100% filtered butane gas. A small amount of liquid gas should be visible through the Gas Inspection Window; gas vapor alone will not generate sufficient pressure. Gas is sold separately.
Basic set and Profi set
The Independent 130 "Basic Set" consists of a gas soldering iron with a pre-installed catalytic soldering tip, a spare tip, and a sponge container with a cleaning sponge.
The Independent 130 Profi Set includes a gas soldering iron with pre-installed catalytic soldering tip, as well as another 3 soldering tips, a hot blade to shape and cut high-resistance foam, a hot gas nozzle, and a deflector to shrink different sizes of heat-shrinkable sleeves and to solder SMD components. It also includes a flame nozzle to micro weld and a sponge container with a cleaning sponge.
