Work Support, 7,3 kN Capacity, 9,7 mm Stroke, Threaded Body
The Enerpac WST72 is work support with a threaded body that offers a capacity of 7,3 kN and a stroke of 9,7 mm. It has a low-pressure lock-up capability that enables the use of machine tool hydraulic systems. The high-rated support capacities allow for a more compact fixture design. This work support has threaded and manifold air vent ports that allow fixturing that prevents coolants from being drawn into the system. It minimizes deflection to increase machining accuracy. It can be operated as an air advance by removing the spring and applying air pressure to the vent port.
Support force and clamping force must be matched. The support force should be at least 150% of the clamping force. Do not exceed maximum flow rates to avoid premature lockup. Always center load over work support.
