The Com-Power APF-5060 magnetic field generator is specifically geared towards generating magnetic fields for immunity testing. The APF-5060 with its corresponding loop antennas provide a standalone solution for magnetic field immunity testing as per IEC/EN 61000-4-8 and all the derived product standards. Two shrouded banana sockets provide a convenient and safe means to connect the loop antenna. In addition to full, front panel operability, the APF-5060 can also be remotely controlled by a PC software via fiber optic interface cable. The required field is generated by APF-5060 by controlling the current based on the coil factor of loop connected to it. The software comes with pre-defined coil factors for all Com-Power loops and in addition the software allows the user to define coil factor thereby providing the versatility of generating the required field by using any loop antenna with a known coil factor.
