The Chip Quik SMDSWLF.015 4OZ is a four-ounce spool of solder wire. It is made of 96.5% tin, 3% silver, 0.5% copper alloy, and has a diameter of 0.015in. It features a no-clean 2.2% synthetic rosin flux core and has no halogen content. The clear, non-corrosive, non-conductive residue is meant to be left on the board. Residues that do remain are water soluble if you want to remove them. Clean with hot water at 60C (140F) minimum. The soldering wire has a melting point of 217C – 220C (423F - 428F)).
