Botron’s ESD Heel Grounders come standard with a conductive 18″ ribbon. All resistors are built-in and are available in 1 MegaOhm, 2 MegaOhm or no resistor variations.
Botron’s ESD Heel Grounders not only are ESDA Complaint (Step 1) but they provide industry-leading surface contact for an incredibly reliable path to ground. We recommend each operator dress with two heel grounders, one for each foot. This will create a parallel path to ground when standing (two feet down) and provide additional peace of mind when walking about, as one heel grounder will always remain in contact with the grounding surface i.e. ESD floor.
Always a Step Ahead
A tough three-layer rubber, cut at 1.5” wide, provides the largest surface contact on the market, plus a rotating heel-to-sole, sole-to-heel cup design for maximum longevity.
The Silver Lining
Each heel grounder comes with an 18” interlaced silver thread grounding ribbon, machine riveted to an isolated resistor and conductive rubber cup.
Without a Trace
3-layers of tough rubber, the innermost conductive fused to outer layers of dissipative non-marring rubber are formulated to leave floors free from streaking that can occur with black conductive materials.
