Botron’s Full Coverage Sole Grounders come standard with an 18” conductive ribbon, long enough to tuck into boots and a 1 MegaOhm resistor. The hook and loop fastening straps are both secure and comfortable, as well as reliable. With many options and colors Botron’s Full Coverage Sole Grounders provide flexibility for every application.
Botron’s Sole Grounders provide an exceptional path to ground for the operator. ESDA Standard now recommends footwear must be less than 1000M Ohm while not to exceeding 100V of charge generation upon the operator (S20.20 8.2-Table 2). Sole Grounders, providing 90%+ coverage, reduce high triboelectric charge generation between an insulative shoe sole and the floor surface, where as a heel grounder will leave upwards of 90% of the shoe sole exposed to tribocharging.
Total Coverage
Providing maximum coverage without the cost of ESD shoes, and a lower Rt (total resistance) path to ground — Soles grounders reduce exposure of rubber soles thus reducing effects of triboelectric generation.
The Silver Lining
Each sole grounder comes with an 18” interlaced silver thread grounding ribbon, machine riveted to an isolated resistor and conductive rubber cup.
Multi-POC
With multiple surface points of contact, at both the heel and midfoot-to-toe, seated personnel can remain grounded no matter what position the feet lay.
Stay in the Loop
With a D-ring adapter attached to one side and a single hook and loop strap provides a nice, tight fitment.
