The 601B Battery Capacity Analyzer addresses the need to test and maintain sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries used in backup power UPS, emergency lighting, fire alarms, security systems, and many other electrical systems. By quickly characterizing a battery's response to a load resistance and measuring the battery's internal resistance, these meters display the remaining battery capacity as an indicator of the battery’s health. Powered by the battery under test, this model supports testing of both 6 V and 12 V storage type lead acid batteries.

Works good when they work
3.0
I have purchased 6 of these units. We have been running these everyday for about 6-8 months. Out of the 6 purchased we have had 2 fail. While BK precision has been good about warranty and have received, repaired, and replaced the failed units, the timeline has been relatively long. They work great and power up fast, built very solid and heavy duty compared to ACT analyzers. I like these over ACT but I am a bit concerned over the 1/3 failure rate.
