The Aaronia SPECTRAN HF-6085 V4 is the ultimate spectrum analyzer for the measurement professional at an absolutely stunning price. This Aaronia unit can do it all. Vastly extended range up to full ICNIRP (+30dBm*). Ideal for measurement of signal sources up to 8GHz and for calculation of ICNIRP exposure limits. The HF-6085 offers a "crystal clear" display without "20MHz aliases" and offers an optional REAL TIME power detector. Easy to use multi-function display with frequency and signal strength. USB 2.0 interface.
Based on a patented spectrum analyzer method Aaronia can offer a professional RF measurement at a spectacular price level. Detect sources of interference, find out more about their causes, determine the frequency and intensity of the signal sources, measure limits and boost the functionality by using our high-end PC software.
All analyzers are developed, individually produced and calibrated in Germany at the Aaronia factory. This guarantees highest standard so that Aaronia can offer every customer a full 10 year warranty for all spectrum analyzers and EMC antennas.
All units offer a USB interface with real-time remote control to your PC or MAC. The free analyzer software, which is available for MAC OS, Linux and Windows, transforms any unit in a powerful measurement solution with great features (e.g. recording, multiple window display, histogram, waterfall diagram, unlimited number of markers, enhanced limits display etc.)
All analyzer units offer a powerful limits display. Just push the limits button at our Spectrum Analyzer and the high-performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP) of the analyzer constantly calculates the limits and displays the results in real-time. Spectrum analyzers with this high-end feature usually cost thousands of dollars. Just save this costs by using Aaronia analyzers.
The shipment of each unit already includes a free EMC directional antenna which covers a wide frequency range. In addition Aaronia provides a lot of optional antennas especially for pre compliance and EMC/EMI tests. Those offer a much higher frequency range and more gain (especially in the frequency range below 700MHz). More details about our antennas can be found at LINK.
Does the Aaronia HF series perform directional finding?

I have this question too (0)
Yes, the HF 40xx and HF60xx series of analyzers, which include directional antennas, will do directional finding (DF). The normal DF process is: Sweep a broad range in the Wi-Fi bands or frequency range of interest. When a strong, interfering signal or signals at the frequency of interest are seen on the spectral display, narrow the sweep span down to just that frequency. Then you can pan around using the directional antenna and watch the signal level increase and decrease to pinpoint the general direction. Then you can also move closer to the source and watch the signal level increase (indicating that you are moving in the right direction).
