Power and Energy Data Logger with LCD and 2 MA193-10-BK Sensors
The AEMC PEL 52 is a compact power and energy data logger with a backlit multi-display LCD screen. The time/date stamped electrical measurement instrument is designed to understand and improve electrical consumption. Two MiniFlex MA193-10-BK sensors, and three black test leads and alligator clips are included. The PEL 52 offers a simple but comprehensive solution to monitor power consumption.
The compact PEL 52 fits in one hand and is easy to handle. Its magnetized casing allows you to position it in smaller electrical cabinets where space is limited. There is no need to cut off the mains to start using it. In addition, it is self-powered via the phase, making it ideal for long campaigns.
The backlit multi-display LCD screen is easy to read. The PEL 52 is equipped with 2 channels, enabling it to be used on split-phase installations or on 2 single-phase installations. The PEL 52 performs the following measurements:
- TRMS voltage and current measurement
- Power measurement: W, VA and var (N, Q1 and D)
- Measurement of PF, DPF, CF and THD
Communication options for real-time monitoring or for saving measurement results include Wi-Fi, an integrated web server, and DataView software for configuring, data retrieval, real-time measurement display, data analysis, and report generation.
Applications
- Load surveys - Find out how much energy each item of equipment consumes operating at its min/max power level
- Energy analysis - Estimate energy consumption before and after the improvements
- Energy surveys - The measurements for energy surveys must be performed at several locations on the evaluation site. Starting with the main power, compare the power and energy measurements on the electricity meter and bills. Sub-metering can then be performed downstream of the installation.
PEL Control Panel Update (Version 2.8.15349)
NEC 220 Article 220.87 30-Day Load Study Report Template
- A new reporting template for load studies simplifies report creation for the PEL series of instruments. Once a recording is completed and added as a session to the Control Panel, a DataView report can be created using the NEC 220.87 30-Day Load Study template. This report will populate peak power in kW and the max demand of the feeder or service as required by article 220.87.
Additional Features:
- Support for Cloud services like OneDrive, Google Drive, and DropBox for the DataView documents folder
- New screen to the installer process that shows how much hard drive space is available and how much it will take to install application
- Ability to select the path to Download folder to store reports where you want on your PC
- See Model L452 data in the Workstation Instrument Panel view
- DataViewSync facilitates communication between the instrument and your computer to easily use DataView to configure, analyze, and generate reports; It also automates the selection of the server address and port
- Bug Fixes: Refer to DataView Release notes and PEL Release notes for a full list of bug fixes included in this release
