FAQ - Oscilloscope Probes Probe Fact Guide Select a probe that is at least the same bandwidth (frequency range) as the oscilloscope being used. Example: When using a 100MHz oscilloscope, select a minimum of 100Mhz probe. To achieve the optimum performance, choose a probe with more than twice the bandwidth of the oscilloscope. CAT II models offer 3-monolithic switchable probes in 50 MHz, 100 MHz, and 260 MHz bandwidth. CAT I models are slim-line designed with replaceable cables, probe tips and grooved heads. Compensation adjustment placed in the BNC to eliminated noise and interference related pickup. Available in switchable and non-switchable versions.
