When it comes to refrigeration there is NO OTHER leak detector period. The H-10 reliably detects leaks, other less expensive models either do not find the leaks or they break way too easily. The H-10's are sensitive and if you mistreat it you will have to take it in for service and/or calibration! Be nice to your H-10 and it will be nice to you for a long long time! We have one for each service technician.

Old school leak detector

I bought this to replace my recently died 25-year-old Yokogawa refrigerant leak detector. Looks like the exact same thing. If it lasts another 25 years, I will have long since retired and refrigeration will be handled by nuclear reactors or some other such outer space device. This thing should be just fine

Newest generation of an old workhorse still great

This is the newest version of an industry old pro of leak detectors. It just keeps getting better. So far it is just as good as my previous H10 leak detector, it is doing great with finding leaks from the hard to detect refrigerants like 410a and 134a. Plus the dual power option is a nice plus.

Bacharach h10 pro leak detector

This is a great leak detector. My only complaint is I have to send it in for repair in the fall when I don't have to use it that much. I plugged in the charger when I first got it & the battery light went from red to green in 10 minutes. The instructions said to charge for 4 hours or until the light turns green. The battery went dead in 5 minutes the first time I used it. I called bacharach & was told it is most likely a bad battery. I am using it with the power cord & have had no problems finding leaks. This is the best leak detector I have had but am a little disappointed having a problem with a brand new tool
